That exact thing happened to me a couple week ago. I had different TCS problems a year ago but replacing the safety valve fixed it. This time was just as you experienced pretty much. I was just sedately driving along and suddenly it kicked in, then it happened repeatedly on restart until I let the car sit for about 2 mins.
The CEL came on, and stayed on for a week or so. The only thing I've done since is re-replace all my vacuum lines, this time with silicone. I did find a couple had already deteriorated and were definitely leaking. I'm going to check out my throttle body's wiring, etc. next.
When I had my first TCS battle the car would go LHM reliably after warming up for 5-15 mins, that was an obvious safety valve problem. It has been almost 80K for your valve, if your failure starts to follows the same pattern, maybe it's time for a re-replacement? Good Luck obviously, LHM sucks!
