LHM Again Tonight, Engine Cold, Full-Throttle Condition

I got the car into LHM again tonight by going full-throttle at around 30 mph. Engine was cold, maybe had driven down the road for five minutes. That's the same way in which it hit last time. Pulled over, turned the car off, sat 60 seconds, started up, no LHM.
Basically, it seems that as long as I don't mash the pedal to the floor, LHM doesn't crop up.
Given how little time the car had been running, I'm ruling out the safety valve, which has already been replaced, as well as the check valve. So are we looking at the TB, which IS the original to my '93 Aero (and the originals are not known to be the best units)?
Anyone tried Ultima's rebuilt TBs? They're $313 - after the core charge - and are covered by a 12-month, unlimited mileage warrantee. Far cheaper than the $646 that eEuro charges for the new unit (with gold-plated connectors).
Thoughts?
