...it sounds like you've got either an accumulator problem or something else going on.

I don't know if this would contribute to your problem, but while it's generally okay to use the two-man bleeding method on the front calipers, you're supposed to let the ABS pump provide the pressure when bleeding the rears. If you did the two-man method on the rears, maybe that got air into the works somehow or caused some sort of damage. Again, just don't know on that one but I suppose it's worth a thought.

Normally, when your brake MC has bit the dust, you'll know because the pedal becomes spongy and soft. Either it will not provide you much or any braking power (less frequent) or you'll at least notice that if you hold your foot on the brake pedal for a few seconds, it'll gradually sink to the floor (classic).

If you've got some pedal pressure, and it holds when you step on the brake for several seconds, then I don't think the MC sounds like the problem. It could well be the accumulator in that case, but you'd still expect to see an ABS or Brake Fluid warning light in that situation.

If you haven't replaced the pump relay, try that. If there's no ABS pressure, you're right that TCS will have an opinion to offer on that.

Maybe you just need to try a rebleed the "proper" way and see where that gets you!
