the belt and pulleys are not hard, and you can certainly replace hoses and even flush the tranny on your own. The timing chain is a question mark, but if the oil has been changed regularly it may be okay, even at your mileage. Filters are easy, too.
If you can do some of the stuff yourself you will save some bucks, but if you spent $1K on the car and are putting $1850 into it, it's not too bad considering the total investment. But you can spend less.
