Original transmission - sudden failure while slowly turning left. Replaced at 125K with Erriccson. First re-build failed at 175K miles. It lasted beyond the 12 month warranty. Started to bind up when rolling slowly in gear. Lots of lash in the drivetrain. Second rebuild installed (erriccson again) and this transmission makes bad noises and 3rd gear vibrates the shifter under load. Seems to have lots of lash in the driveline as well. Made terrible screeching sounds when first moving when it was below freezing in the spring. I will do my damnedest to get that thing replaced under warranty prior to the 12 months being up. I took it back once and the shop said they couldn't find anything wrong.

One guy I spoke to said they (Erriccson) hadn't built a good transmission for years.

So that's 2 trannies in 4 years. I think I might try to find a good used one to rebuild myself this winter.

Just my experience. Not so good.
