...let's see, firstly you might not want to entirely rule out the crank pulley, because I've seen them fail by wobbling to the point that the serp belt got chewed up. However, you can keep an eye on that situation easily enough.

Leaving out the crank pulley, it's possible that any one of those wheels in the works could be a squeaker. Power steering pump? Alternator? Compressor? Water pump? Idler and tensioner pulleys? What about the clutch itself?

Perhaps this problem falls into the category of watch-and-wait, until it becomes more consistent and you can diagnose it more easily (ah ha! So it was the alternator all this time! Now, where's the nearest Saab mechanic here in the Nevada desert I wonder?).
