Curiosity is a great thing. I would love to see the inner workings of the 2.3 that your eyes have gazed. I know from your years of posts that you have several 9000's in the household. I also know that a decent 9000 non-turbo can be had for $2,800.00 used and a turbo for $4,000.00 There has to be a value on your labor vs. driving time and enjoyment. I would trade two questionable 9000's for one reliable one with service records that you can keep running with your legendary expert knowledge of the inner workings of these strong engines. I appreciate all of you insights in your posts and just hope I do not need to see these marvels of engineering with my own eyes on my own Saab. Keep exploring and try to find some time to drive and enjoy the cars so you can debate tire brands or window tinting. You are a true Saaber and I say this with all good intention.
