It was VERY cold in New England last night during my fiancé’s and my ride home from the theater in Boston, MA the dash temperature was around 6 degrees F!! Wind-chill was around -15 degrees!!

We parked my ’95 Aero in a HEATED garage to go to the theater; I locked the car with the key fob remote to arm the alarm. When we came back three hours latter, I used the remote again to unlock the car and disarm the alarm. When we got on our way home, a 1-hour plus trip I locked the car doors with the console switch for the ride.

When we arrived at home, I shut off the car and pressed the console switch to unlock the doors. It made the noise and TRIED to unlock the doors but it did not work! All four doors were still locked with us in the car. I tried the center console switch at lock and unlock the doors ten more times until it stopped working. I also tried PULLING UP ON THE MANUAL TABS BUT THEY WERE TO STIFF!! I then tried the remote fob from inside the car still no luck. I then tried to start the car to use the center console switch again, and the alarm went off. How embarrassing, and now I am getting pissed! Therefore, I used the fob to shut the alarm off from inside the car. Start the car and start pulling on the tab while pressing the console switch and I Finally get the tab to go up but it is VERY stiff! Then I go around to my fiancé’s side and unlock her door from the outside with the key in the door tumbler!

I was so pissed and embarrassed I wanted to kick a huge dent in my Aero!
