My son now has a 2002 Aero and lives about 5 miles away. My significant other has a 1999 9-5 that I do the maintenance on but seldom get to drive. I hope to keep my 98 CSE until Saab comes out with an equivalent hatchback. That might be a long wait. My significant other thinks my CSE drives like a tank. In part, this is because it’s not an automatic. I have to admit her 9-5 automatic is nimble and easier to drive in the city. You do have to keep a constant eye on the road with a 9-5 compared to the 900s and 9000s, both of which, when you begin to turn the wheel, sort of ask "do you really not want to go straight?"
