how trouble free the 99 lpt has been. We have had it for two years with only two minor repairs so far. I stopped a coolant leak by tightening a banjo fitting an eighth of a turn and I did the common fix for restoring missing pixels on the SID. Of course, it took an hour to take things out to get to the fitting. Like most modern cars there is no space to work. I have fond memories of climbing in beside the L-head engine in my 1939 Oldsmobile coupe to work on it. I suppose being a lot thinner then helped. My son has not reported any problems with his 9-5 Aero that he has had for a year and taken on several 1400-mile trips. There is risk in buying any used car. Maybe we lucked out with these cream puffs.
