remove the axle and inspect ASAP>... this is a MUST top Do NOW!!!
if you are able to change a tire then you can do this in about 30 minutes. its dumb simple and not a 2hr job. first jack up the car and remove the tire, then remove the 2 bolts which hold the strut onto the hub. now with a slot scewdriver remove the metal clamp on the inner CV boot, now pull the whole axle assembly out far enough so the inner tripod come out, basically just tilt the brake disk down and the axle will fall out of the inner driver. now feel around the inner cup for grooves, and check your inner tripod bearing, has it fallen apart? generally when the inner cup goes bad when you accelerate at high speeds the car shakes so bad..... it soulds like it is just your inner tripod which ie cheap and easy to do now, don't wait. Now if you need to replace your axle or repalce your inner tripod bearing, before you remove your wheel loosen the Big axle nut (the one visible thru your wheel) you cna't get this loose once the rest is apart but it is not needed just for inspection, but his requires a large socket you may not have. i beleive it is a 1 1/8 inch or 1 1/4 inch??
if your tripod bearing is bad I have a new one I will give you for $35 shipped, i got one for my car but needed the whole axle, which I found used, i put about 50 miles on the bearing though. but don't wait, it could also be the carrier bearing which is bad also. I can email you a diagram if needed
