So i talked to my dad (who used to be a saab master mechanic many years ago) and he had me do the following:
unhooked the "negative" terminal of the car from the battery. Took jumper cables, hooked the black jumpercable to the negative terminal on the car and took the other black end and hooked to one side of a lightbulb (used an interior bulb and a headlight bulb) then took the red side of the jumper cables hooked one end up to the other side of the lightbulb, and the other end back to the negative on the battery, so basically i just extended the negative terminal on the car and placed a lightbulb inbetween.
when no lights on the car were on (KEY IS OFF) neither of the lightbulbs lit up, if a dome light came on, it would be very dim, if i turned the parking lights on, too bright to look at.
w/ the interior bulb, when no lights were on, the bulb was not lit, if i turned a dome light on, dim, two dome lights on, too bright to look at.
Dad said seemed ok, THEN i informed him i had a meter, haha.
placed meter on 10amp and placed it in instead of the light bulb, read 0.67 with NO INTERIOR lights etc on, read 0.87 with trunk light on.
he said 0.67 seems fine, could it really be i have gotten 4+ jumk batteries from wal-mart (ever-start)?
Thinking about taking it back for the 5th time, getting my FULL refund and just going to get a diehard, or everready, or bosch etc from the local parts store.
... does 0.67 seem normal? (remember have clock, and radio (to keep presets) and ECU etc) anyone wanna test theirs for me?
TIA
