I used to employ two 10d finishing nails to remove the Harmon Kardon head unit in my 98 CSE before I replaced the unit with a Pioneer tuner. Put the nails in the holes on the sides, head end first, about 1.5 inches or so and by trial an error you should be able to release the catches and pull the radio free with the heads of the nails.
