The PS pump is very robust. Hardly any fails but I guess it can happen. Make sure it is the pump. I'd tighten the connections first. There are two on the pump. One low pressure, another high. Tighten both, spary engine gunk remover followed by garden hose spray and button things up. Observe it in a week or two. If the leak is gone then do nothing.
If you must remove it, it is straight forward. You already know space is tight. Remove the connections while the pump is still on the bracket. There are only two bolts fastening the pump to the bracket. There is a moderate chance the bolt will seize and snap, leaving the shank in the hole on the bracket. If that happens you'll have to remove the bracket to drill it out. Chances are when you drill it out the part of the bracket with the severed bolt will disintegrate so you have to get a new bracket. Guess how know that?
If you are lucky to remove the two PS pump bolts intact, make sure you apply anti-seizing compound on the threads of the bolts when you install. Tighten the bolt to 12 ft-lbs.
