My guess would be the crank shaft position sensor.
That ones goes bad with heat when nearing its life span and comes back to life when the engine temp drops down.
One way to check a CKP sensor that starts to go bad is to measure the resistance over pin 1 and 2 of the sensor when the engine is piping hot.
It should be about 540 Ohm at room temp on your car so you can expect around 600 Ohm on a good sensor when hot.
If it is up in the 1000 or more, the sensor is going bad.
But you have to take the measurements as fast as possible because as soon as you open the hood, the cool down of engine starts and the sensor goes back to normal readings after only 5-10 min max.
