I agree with Henry - a really shot lower mount doesn't really leak. If you look straight down between the engine and wheel well, at the coolant reservoir, you can see the forward lower mount. A good flashlight is critical. Look right around where the bolt enters the mount - do you see signs of cracking? If so, bad sign. The definitive test is to remove the fender inner liner (not that hard) and look. I take a crowbar and lever up between the frame and the engine mounting ear.
I've had bad lower mounts that showed some cracking, but no sign of leaking. But when I lifted the engine with the crowbar, the center part with the bolt just lifted right out of the mount.
The upper and lower mounts work together. If one fails, the other will take up the load and shortly fail.
