Sorry for the heavy exlamation mark and SHOUTING, but please note that dielectric grease is non-conductive, therefore if you smear it on the actual connections of anything, like putting it on the tip of the spark plug, you will prevent an electrical contact as the grease will act as an electrical barrier.
You should smear dielectric grease all round the inside of the rubber boots on the DI cassette that fit over the spark plug, this is to prevent arcing (sparking) climbing up the boot and getting to the DI cassette and dealing it a mortal blow.
I've had a hell of a job trying to locate dielectric grease here in the UK, so have used silicon spray sprayed onto a cloth to make a big puddle, then used my fingers to smear the stuff around the inside of the DI boots, not sure if this is good enough, but only temporary until I can find the proper stuff.
