TCS: Intermittent cruise control, now LHM

Folks,
My cruise control has been operating intermittently the past week, and today I was driving along, throttle maybe 1/4 open when I suddenly lost power - looked down at the dash, TCS CTRL! Yeah!
Limped to a side street to park and look at things... shut off, tried to turn back on, and was still in LHM. Turned off, popped hook and checked connections to the safety valve. I wiggled all the electrical and vacuum connections, started back up again and all was good. My vacuum lines are in rough shape, though none appear broken near the fittings they attach to... still, I think I'm going to order the silicon hose kit from SaabSavior. I presume the 9000 Turbo kit includes EVERYTHING I'll need to refresh ALL the vacuum hoses under the hood, including TCS-related hoses... Do I need to have a calibration done after changing all the hoses?
Also, it's worth noting that I still have the original black and whtie check valve on the firewall.
Any opinions on what components are likely to have caused this? At a minimum, I figure I'm going to replace either the cruise or safety valve, the check valve, and all hoses.
Thanks for any info!
Cheers,
--jeff
