between the tube and the poly bushing - this will now be a wear surface, subject to loud squeaking, as the tube will be clamped firmly in place by the compression of the shaft/spindle nut.
When I got my poly bushings from eEuroparts a couple of years ago, there was NO lubricant there - hopefully this has been corrected. I had to disassemble the bushings to lubricate this surface, used various sized sockets in a large bench vice for disassembly and reassembly.
