It's good only for '94-98; since you said you had a DI, I can assume your car is at least a '91. Model and year would be helpful.
It could be a lot of things. The DI can quit suddenly. For a sudden failure, a visual inspection should tell you something. Pull it off, flip it over, and remove the plastic cover. If you see burn marks on the circuit board, or if any of the coil tubes are low on oil, that would be the most likely culprit. It could be the fuel pump, but I see that as being more likely being a no-start, instead of a sudden-stop. But it could be the fuel pump relay or the crank position sensor. It would be interesting to see if the car starts again when cool - that would point towards the crank position sensor.
Once you've gone through the no-start tests, you'll have an idea of fuel or spark.
