Congrats on the new 9k, you will have a lot of fun with it :D.
The radio does have an aux output, but not in RCA form, there are low level outputs going to the amp for the rear speakers (under the passanger seat I believe). But what I've done, and sounds AMAZING, is replaced all the speakers (Rockford Power series), added 2 Alpine subs and an Alpine v-power digital amp, and ran the two amps (sub amp, and 6x9 amp) to the rear speaker connections using a line level converter. This option works quite well without having to splice into the stereo wiring. And there is NO buzzing, hissing or degraded sound using a line level converter. Also, yes a 900 CD changer will work fine (thats what I have in my 9k), and for my other toys (Sirius, in-dash DVD, Ipod) I use a tape adapter, which sounds very good. In the future, I might try to tap into the input for the CD changer to get a real aux-in, but for now the tape adapters work fine. I also love the 7 band equilizer these 9k's have... much more customizable than most aftermarket radios with just treble and bass settings. The factory Saab radio is plenty to power the front speakers, as they're just 4 inchers. If you get high powered rear speakers, I'd reccomend a seperate amp. In terms of performace, a manual boost controller is a good way to remove the boost limiter in 1st and 2nd gear and even raising the overall boost a bit (be prepared for a LOT of rubber burning and a grin ear to ear from the massive torque unleashed in the low gears). After what i've read about K&N and similiar, I'd stick with just a paper element, you can mod the airbox (take off the elephant trunk and drill some 1'' holes in the end of the box) and that will get you much better airflow, and tons more sound out of your turbo... PSHHHHHHHHH!
In terms of tinting, are you in Portland, ME? or Portland, OR? I'm in Portland, Maine and the only place that comes to mind is Tints 'R Us on Warren Ave (near Forrest Ave) in Portland/Westbrook. I was quoted around $300 for a tint job on my old 900, so I'd assume thats still a good quote. Hehe, I just noticed your SN and its clear now that you're NOT from Maine :P.
Anyways, have a ton of fun with your new Aero. I much perfer driving my 9000 than my NG900, I think you'll agree (except in really hot weather, the 900 is a ragtop :D)
