I'm about to drop the transmission in my 91 Turbo 5-speed for a slave cyl and I'm thinking about buying a used 93 transmission to replace the NA tranny that came with the car while I have it down. Any known problems with this? I know they will bolt up, but I don't have TCS and this one could possibly (haven't seen it yet). The NA tranny is just too geared down for me...
Should I grab an inner CV joint from the junkyard donor as well? I know the driver is different, but I was hoping that this would not be a big pain for me since I will have the old tranny to swap from. I have some Auto CVs laying around from a 91 CD, are they the same? Not really clear on the differences b/t the two sizes... just diameter?
As you can see, lots of questions arise...
Thanks,
Everett
