1996 2.3 LPT CS with R134a a/c
I've searched posts, but nothing so far appears to answer this a/c newbie question, so here goes:
On top of my compressor there is a cube of metal with a valve that sticks straight up that has a black plastic cap.
There are also 2 other similar looking valves on the rear of the compressor, ie opposite end of the compressor from the a/c clutch.
My spider sense tells me that I should plug my can of a/c gas into the 1st valve (the one that sticks straight up in the air on top of the compressor, is that correct?
If it is not correct and its one of the other two, there is one nearer the engine and another nearer the radiator, in line with each other.
My first delve into a/c, so please forgive the basic question!
Regards
Andy (West London)
