On my 95 9000 CSE, my upper radiator hose came off and I lost two gallons of coolant.( I overtightened with a heavy duty clamp and cracked the upper nub of the radiator connection.) I noticed steam coming from the hood but was unable to pull over immediately. I may have drove like this for fifteen minutes to twenty minutes--between the time of the hose coming off until I pulled over. My temperature gauge read normal.
The car runs fine but I am worried what the damage is to my Cylinder Head, gasket, seals and so forth. For such a big loss of coolant, how come
the coolant gauge didn't read Hi Temp?
