So here's what happens. When raising both driver and passenger windows, the passenger window will reach the top while the driver's side still has an inch to two inches to go. Once the passenger side window is about 3/4 the way up (the window is now entirely out of the base of the door if that makes sense) the window will all of the sudden lurch forward (towards the headlights) so the top can be at times an inch or more away from the door frame. I can stop the window and push it back into place with some force, but it will lurch forward once i start to bring it back up again. The window always seals properly and gets pushed back into place. This is a 98' 9000 CSE.

I have also noticed that a piece of the rubber that seals against the window on the outside tends to get folded under, I've pulled it back out with a putty knife but it seems to have memory - after rolling up and down the window, the rubber is folded under. Would buying a spray can of dry silicone lubricant help this? I need it anyway for the cabin air filter.

hopefully someone has encountered this problem before.
