I just bought a spare from Aaron on this board two weeks ago. I took a vise grips and padded the jaws and then proceeded to bend up the sheet metal in the area enough to squeeze the fan and its cage out from the front. You will find that the fan rotates a bit and the cage is flexible. I took out the old and squeezed in the replacement. Pluged in the two-prong connector and was in business again! A/C is very cool now and I touched up the paint in the area that cracked off during the bending process. I bent it all back into place and you have to look twice to see that this was done. You can do this in one hour!
