well, ask yourself, how loud is it?
can you secure it as is and keep driving it?
you need a rear muffler, obviously, around $70 - $80 from eeuroparts.com including shipping. center muffler/pipe is likely, because it looks bent where it meets the rear muffler, and there's a hole in it...
$200 total probably. maybe you can bend the center muffler pipe a little so that you can hook up the rear muffler. you can always try, and then wrap the pipe with something to patch the hole.
depends on how strict inspection is up there.
as mentioned in an earlier exchange about my rear muffler which is falling apart, someone in vt removed the rear muffler and just put a straight pipe on. a little louder and sportier sounding, and it passed inspection, as rear muffler just quiets the car further after center muffler.
maybe you could take it to a local inexpensive muffler shop and see if they can remove the rear muffler and attach a pipe to the center muffler pipe and bend it and then hang it at the rear behind the bumper.
if they'll do it cheap, and some will, that could be your cheapest option.
if you go the standard route, you'll need some ratchets, sockets, a safe way to jack up the car, and some new rubber exhaust hangers (also at eeuroparts.com)
good luck
