You fix the sagging headliner by pulling it all down, brushing the "new ceiling" with a brush to knock down the remaining debris, then vacuum the car to clean up the mess. Then, you look out the windows and never again at the roof. Works great, a very reliable and economical fix. I've been enjoying my 93 CSE like that for years.
The blower motor is a major nuisance. Saab made sure to put everything in the way according the "right way" of doing it via the aquarium. I did the blower on my 93 through the acquarium, took forever and made me grumpy.
Later, I did that job on my long gone 1988 9000S by removing the center console from inside the car (as per suggestion by a Saab tech). I cut the plastic that covers the blower motor & cage to gain access. When I put it back, I glued the plastic and replaced the center console. BWT, that plastic is not visible after the console is replaced, so this method doesn't disfigure the car. If you do the job, replace the squirrel cage as well, that way you can replace blower & cage as a unit, and its too much trouble to go back in.
