...driving my 5sp 9k Aero smoothly around town required an awful lot of practice and concentration. Nasty, vague shifter which is placed way too far forward and down, and ridiculously vague on-off clutch!
This is nothing compared to the '91 900 non-turbo I had before, however... truely the most difficult and intensive to operate manual transmission I have encountered!
On the highway though... the Aero with its big long gears and stupid torque is a BLAST...
...plus my gas mileage with the 5sp was spectacular.
Tradeoffs...
