I just had this problem for the second time, with my 9KT. It too was low on gas and made it home with a engine missfire, but got progressively worse. I hate the electronics on these cars as it ends up becoming very pricey to service, and keep, I have TCS!! I brought car to the mechanic, he drained the gas( DO you put in 91 or 93 octane?) I had the replace the DIC, and the plugs, and the car ran great, after that. Two day ago the car did it agian, and when it happens to my car it goes into LHM. So i parked the thing. I getting rid of it now as I have suck maybe 6K into it since febuary. SO i guess my advice it to check the DIC,a dn the plugs agian as my plugs looked fine upon inspection, and my DIC wasnt malfuntioning, either. I just replaced them and it worked?!?! good luck.
