Hello.. well It's tough to say, but another SAAB in our family has passsed but she served us well. My mother, not paying attention, drifted into the on-coming lane in a 55mph zone. She was hit almost head on by a pick up truck. She and my brother escaped unharmed aside from bumbs here and there. This is another testimate to unsurpased safety and qulity of these cars. god forbid if she was driving a Hyundai or something. Anyways we are all counting our blessings! Not to mention that this was the nicest SAAB they've owned. well aside friom the brand new 93GT that my father bought decades ago.
Anyways, on another note we're forced to part with this baby as they are hoping to sell their house and can't take the time to part it out. So my big question is.. whats the best way to sell this baby? and what is it worth? The Front Right side is mangled, both airbags went off, and the rear seat bent in a bit from the box of stuff that was in the rear. The car has 107K, beige leather, Auto and the 2.3T.. I don't even know if it will start.. but she ran great before the smash. Any advice would be wonderful. And of course they are looking for another SAAB, but probably not as new and nice.
here's to SAABs.. how many of us wouldn't be here if we didn't drive these cars??
