The CPS is located behind the crank pulley for you model year. But you don't need to touch it. At least not yet if you have not confirmed it is bad. Follow the wire loom of the CPS to its connector. Near the crank pulley there is nothing electrical except the CPS so there should only be one wire loom there. Find the conector. Use a flat blade screw driver to pry open the red part of the connector to loosen it.
I presume you are not afraid to get your hands dirty so it should not be too difficult for you to do.
