Speaker Wires & Speaker that that fit perfect

Two things here. First the good stuff. I finally found speakers that fit perfectly for my 92 9000 Griffen. Boston Acoustics S45 for the dash (4" speakers) and S65 for the rear (6.5") In all honesty just about any round 6.5" speakers will work in the rear. The front speakers are the hard ones as the rubber gasket that goes under the speaker doesn't fit anything, but on the S45 it fit like a glove. These are two-way speakers and I purchased mine from Crutchfield. Expensive, but I've already purchased and returned various 4" speakers, so I've gotten my money's worth.
The question that I have is which wires are the ground on each speaker. I have things hooked up as I think they should be, but something sounds a little out of whack. I thought that I would ask, before I have to get back into the trunk. I'm a little overweight and it isn't easy to get out of the trunk. Funny how getting in the trunk is so much easier.
Thanks so much,
Ted Kitch
