My first assumption would be FPR. When the engine is cold, the computer richens the mixture. As it warms up, it leans it out. You might be starting out as about right, and going lean from there. The fact that the engine is pinging isn't good - that means that the fuel control has done everything it can to reduce knock - timing, fuel enrichment, cutting back boost - and it is still knocking. I'm assuming that's due to the lean running.
I assume you have no check engine light - actually, I'm surprised, because the O2 sensor should be shouting either lean or rich. If the O2 sensor is lying, it would be saying rich, and the control is trying to lean out the mixture. If the O2 sensor is telling the truth, it'd be saying lean. If you don't have a CEL, turn the key to ON and don't start the car, and make sure the CEL is working.
Assuming no CEL, about all I can come up with would be:
Bad FPR, providing too little fuel pressure
Bad MAP sensor - giving the wrong intake pressure, and therefore the wrong amount of air (and therefore fuel)
Possibly a bad temp sensor, but I doubt it - it doesn't have that much authority, and the Trionic makes certain assumptions about engine temp.
Any failure can't be so bad as to be total, or the Trionic would pick it up and give a CEL. If you DO have a CEL, I'd get the codes read out, as that will provide a lot of help.
