Flushing the Cooling System...question

Hey All, I recently bought a Flush 'n Fill kit from Prestone to flush the Cooling System but I've encountered a problem. Sorry in advance as this may seem easy but I am new to working on cars and constantly learning... The kit tells me to cut the inlet hose and insert one of the "Tees." There are two hoses coming out of the firewall, and one of them goes into what i think is the water pump, while I made the assumption that the other, thicker one, is the inlet hose. However, the kit says this hose should go into the engine, and it is going into the AC Condensor. (I think, because the end of the hose has a twist off cap that I used to charge the AC). Somehow this hose doesn't seem to be the one that I need to cut. Also, is there any other way besides cutting the hose..it seems like i shouldnt be doing this?? Please help... Thanks, Steve
