I have SQR Stage 4 software with 3 inch down pipe and K&N Filter with modified airbox. I just installed the Forge BOV from genuinesaab. I installed the yellow spring but I might change it to blue (23-30 psi. I routinely generate 22 lbs of boost. It is no louder than the stock Bosch BOV I had. My car is no more powerful but it makes help achieve max boost easier and hold stronger. It is difficult to describe. You may experince a similar change in your unmodified 9000.
I would spend the $500 and get new software. Stage 3 from SQR, Nordic or Maptun will put a smile on your face.
