They do handle pretty well; my 1992 is okay, but it handles like a shopping cart compared to my wifes '96 Aero. I know Aeros have different suspension package than non-Aeros, so that helps, but that car corners very well, goes over the bumps well, and is scary-smooth at higher speeds. I am also hesitant to change anything, but will end up doing control arm and sway bar bushings sometime; they car has 166k on it and probably will be needing them. Nine times out of ten, the suspension package a car came with is best-suited for the car in its stock form with an average driver. If you are a driver that wants a more squishy smooth ride, then you can upgrade accordingly, and vice versa if you want a harsh ride, but want the car to handle like its on rails.
