APC failures - HELP

I have had my 95 CSE for 2 years.
Here is the APC history,
- 60,818 (miles) Replaced
- 98,894 I bought the car and the APC was dead
- Indie got me a used APC. It lasted a few hundred miles and when it went it took out the APC (fried transistor so only base boost)
- 105,000 Got used computer (Strandberg) and new APC (EEuroparts)
- 109,700 Started getting over-boost and fuel cutoff
- 109,787 Replaced APC with another new one (warranted by EEuroparts)
- 113,800 Started getting over-boost and fuel cutoff
I was really hoping that the wastegate was sticking but that does not seem to be the case.
So I know that a bad APC can kill the computer.
I have also read here that a bad computer can kill an APC valve. Is this true? Is the way in which an APC dies random. That is can either solenoid die and therefore cause either base boost or over-boost?
Someone here mentioned that their indie diagnosed a faulty computer that was killing APC valves. Does anyone know how to diagnose this?
Thanks,
Rupert
