And we all forget it in times of stress, I know I have too!
Check the Vacuum lines, then check them again, and if nothing else is obviously wrong (ala melted, exploded, on fire, or broken), check them *again*.
I helped a guy a couple of weeks ago, he thought vacuum lines were ok, but a couple of days later found a leak. Fixed and fixed.
I had a hooter valve that was a little too active and was on my list of things to do. Was cleaning the top of my battery, too much crap on the top of it, and noticed one of my silicon lines that runs below the battery platform was eaten almost in half. Trimed the line square, put in a straight through connector. and took a test drive. ran fine, but the Hooter valve had stopped hooting, and the boost went into the red as in days of old... Hooter valve ok, vacuum line bad in the *middle* of the run, both ends were ok. A new one to add to my what to check...
So...
Good for you that you found it!
