I love cars of all shapes and sizes. I have to see one go to parts. Granted, I am parting a 1994 Aero right now, but I bought it wrecked, needed many parts from it to finish my 1996 Aero, and after that, it was just money in my pocket. Yes, you will make FAR more money parting your car than selling it outright. If money is what is important, go for it. It makes a mess, shipping is a pain in the a$$, it is a lot of work, but on certain cars, it does pay. If you just want it out of the driveway and want to wash your hands of it, then find a young kid who is excited to get ANYTHING that runs a drives and cut them a good deal on it. Its all about how much you want the money. If I were to do it again on a car that was not an Aero (which has many more desireable parts on it than your basic 9000), I would pull the engine, tranny, front sheet metal, headlights, doors, wheels and the high-demand small stuff like ECU, headlight relay, fan control, etc., then ship it down the road. Yes, someone always wants a few bolts or a relay or a switch, but it isn't worth plugging up your driveway and tripping over parts to make another $50.
