Well i was driving along today and while going down a hill at 55 my 97 9k cse and it felt like i was losing power. Checked my vacuum boost gauge and watched it climb from 20 in/hg to 10 psi but still no power and all of the sudden a jump like everything was working fine and then back to 20 in/hg and full power. Followed by a return to normal operation i got the cel to flash 5 times in front of me.
Now i have OBD 2 and the cel has been on since the engine was changed, rear o2 sensor so i've ignored it. So i've looked through the archive and for OBD 1 cars 5 means throttle posistion sensor (tps). Does that mean the same thing as OBD 1 in a OBD 2 car. Also just incase i counted the flashes wrong since the last flash was pretty short and return to constant for the CEL what would four flashes mean on OBD 2.
