I am dealing with an issue on a 93 CSET 5-speed. Here is the background. The car runs and drives fine for days and then all of a sudden I try to start it and I am in LHM. It throws a code of 42220 (ETS) which is no voltage to terminal 22 and/or 13. It also throws a PO120 whatever that is. Anyway, as soon as the codes are cleared it starts right up and purrs. It gets stranger. I attempt to calibrate the system. I enter the code 971 and the display changes to 8D971 as it should. I proceed to attempt a cal by entering 973 and the TCS CNTL light never comes on so I cannot cal. I tried several times assisted by David Ingram so I am quite sure we did everything properly. Has anyone ever run into this situation before. I am dumbfounded as to what to do next. Any and all suggestions are appreciated. I really like this car so dynamite is not an option.
