The only issue with replacing the CPS is that you have to remove the main pulley first.
Basic process - jack up and support the right front. Remove tire, and remove the fender inner liner. Relieve pressure on the belt tensioner to get the belt off. Loosen the bolt on the main pulley - An impact wrench works great. There are a lot of tricks to remove the bolt - do a search on "main pulley" or "harmonic balancer". The CPS is right behind, held on with two bolts. The cable runs up through a couple of cable clamps to a connector.
If you're in there, there are a bunch of other things to think about doing. How old is the serpentine belt? I like replacing the belt every 30K miles. Excessive, but that's me. Tensioner and idler pulleys should be replaced every 60K. They're probably good to 75K, but I just do it every two belt changes. With the main pulley off, replacing the front main seal is cake. If it's even thinking about leaking, replace it. How are the engine mounts? Lots of opportunties to catch up on needed maintenance while you're in there.
