One comment I would like to make is that when you have "caked oil" on a surface you don't have a "bad" oil leak.
A bad oil leak will leave fresh oil stains and drips from the bottom. The best way to find those is to clean the area with brake cleaner as high up as possible where it seems to be originating from.
Drive the car for a little while and check with a flash light and mirror to see where the oil is coming from.
100% of the Saab 4 cyl engines will develop caked oil in that corner of head due to slight seepage from the head gasket, even the ones with proper head bolts and torque.
It's really nothing to do about that.
A leaking crank seal can be found by letting the car sit idling and then see if the oil drips down from between the engine and bell housing.
