Paul, I bought my Aero a week ago, on ebay. There were no service records or anything. After a week of driving it, I found some electrical gremlins, and fix one of them. The left turn signal would always work, but sometimes the right turn signal would not work at all. When the right turn signal wouldn't work, the emergency flashers wouldnt work either. On my other 9000, I had problems with the emergency flashers and this was traced to the relay needing to be reseated. I actually scrapped off the contacts as well. Anyway, I swapped in the good flasher relay from my other 9000 (also a '94) and the flasher was still intermittant. Then I just wiggled the relay in the socket a bunch, and that appears to have permanently fixed the problem.
Try turning on your turn signal and then wiggling the relay at the same time to see if that causes it to start functioning.
The central locks and interior lights also do not work in my car. They work if I replace the blown fuse, but it blows again soon. I've read that this is because of a stuck lock actuator on one of the rear doors. The rear door handles are just hanging there - obviously the previous owner struggled with this problem.
And of course the SRS light is on and the ABS light comes on every once and a while.
I've found a lot of useful info in the archives.
Good luck.
Robert
