There is no official way to defeat TCS on automatic tranny cars. There are differences in the TCS system between transmission types. In Manual tranny cars, the TCS can apply the brakes in addition to cutting back the throttle. Auto tranny cars only adjust the throttle. Auto tranny cars have a totally electronic connection between the pedal and the throttle plate; manual tranny cars have a stand-by cable.
As David notes, the TCS defeat switch only defeats the anti-spin feature; if there is a sensor problem, it doesn't fix 'limp home' mode. There are ways to enable wheel slip, but they are pretty invasive and you lose a lot of other features. For example, you could swap the front and rear ABS sensor signals to the ABS box. That's how the TCS detects wheel spin. Since the rear wheels don't spin under acceleration, you'd get all the wheel spin you wanted. But the ABS wouldn't work.
