Yes, there is a way to defeat TCS on auto cars and keep ABS and cruise control operating. The signals from the four wheelsensors are transferred from the ABS ECU to the ASR ECU under the driver front seat. When these 4 wires are disconnected at the ASR connector, ABS will work, but ASR will not work. It will think, the car is stationary, so no reason to interfere.
However, the cruisecontrol needs a speedsignal from one of the frontwheel sensors through the ASR ECU, so the cruise control will not work.
When feeding the left rearwheel signal after the ABS ECU (at the ASR connector) to the LR and LF ASR connector points and the right rearwheel signal to the RR and RF ASR connector points, after disconnecting the wires from the LF and RF sensors, ABS and cruise control will work and ASR is disabled, because there is no difference in signal between the rear wheels and the frontwheels left to right and front to rear. The rearwheel speedsignal now goes to the cruisecontrol instead of a frontwheel signal, but that is the same for the cruise control.
On my 1992 9000CD 2.3T automatic it works like a dream
kind regards
Peter de Vrey
