IIRC it's a 10mm bolt. You're right, it cannot be seen but once found (feeling or a mirror) it should come out. I have a ratchet with a swivel head but maybe a universal joint can help. The cable clamps on the underside of the head just pry off. The connector is a bear to get to. I found it easier to get up on the engine using a thick blanket for my knees/legs and reaching down to it. I would get the Bosch OEM sensor... less problems and it has the SAAB connector on it as well. HTH
