Hello everyone,
I am relatively new to saab's having purchased mine a little over a year ago which now has just about 87500 miles on it.
I recently had some work done and once i got my vehicle back from the shop i noticed that my transmission seems to be acting oddly. From a stop it seems that upon acceleration the first two gears shift a little quickly and then into 3rd? it lags and the rpms go up slightly before the gear engages. Usually it would shift around 40 mph but intermittently around 45 to 47 mph now.I also noticed a small leak which looks to be transmission fluid on the ground. I checked the fluid and it seems to be relatively clear and red, no burnt smell. I changed the fluid approx. at 80000 miles.
It was in the shop to get a new axle put in because the boot was torn. Also some relays were replaces and a new hub put in. Maybe the mechanic fooled with something that would be causing the shifting change? I am obviously somewhat mechanically inept. I appreciate any reply or feedback. thanks.
James
