who supply the BPC valve. They have supposedly found that many of the solenoids returned are from engines on which the intake system has been modified (i.e. with a low restriction air cleaner, modified air box, etc.) because they let more grit into the system that messes with the BPC valve, usually causing it to fail.
Given that just clamping a K&N onto a 9K, absent a 3" exhaust from the downpipe back and a reprogrammed ECU, is not going to do a whole lot beyond what you *think* may be happening, these things are a waste of money.
Marketing hype is marketing hype. What I know from all I can find, I won't put one of their filters on any of my 3 Saabs. The tiny HP gain is more imaginary than real on the street and--unless you have the skills of a pro driver and an empty road, totally unrealized on a day to day basis.
